Ahead of Guinea-Bissau’s presidential election scheduled for November 23, 2025, we arrived in Bissau this evening as members of the West African Elders Forum (WAEF) Pre-Election Mission.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Government and people of Guinea-Bissau as well as Nigerian Embassy officials for their warm welcome and hospitality. 

We look forward to engaging constructively with key stakeholders in support of peaceful, inclusive, and credible electoral processes.
