Opinion - Alpha Condé fiddle while Guiné-Bissau burns

Alpha Condé did not indicate any name in the Guinee Conakry Accord because he calculatingly decides to deceived all parties involved in the negotiation

Yes, PAIGC won the 2014 legislative election with 57 deputies.

But the question is how can the Party that won election with (57 deputies), but no longer has the majority in the parliament after expulsion of 15 deputies (42 deputies) defend its program at the Parliament?

Alpha Condé knew that “one of the three” candidates intended for Prime Minster position in Guiné-Bissau, could not be indicated by PAIGC without reintegration of "THE 15"; and without collaborating with PRS that has 41 Deputies in the parliament.

It is good to remember that the previous Prime Minister "Carlos Correia" indicated by PAIGC on 17 September 2015 was dismissed on 12 May 2016 by the President, José Mário Vaz, because "Carlos Correia" couldn’t get enough vote at the parliament to defend PAIGC’s program.

Therefore, if Augusto Olivais was indicated again by PAIGC; how could he, have succeeded where Carlos Correia failed?

Alpha Condé also, knew that the Prime Minster that PAIGC would indicate, won’t be the same that the President of the Republic of Guiné-Bissau, José Mário Vaz would have preferred.

NB: José Mário Vaz understands that PAIGC is divided; And that the part controlled by Domingos Simões Pereira, the current leader of PAIGC, does not really care about Augusto Olivais, because he has never been their preference. They only stick to that name with the objective to keep the crises going, aimed to prove that without Domingos Simões Pereira as prime minister, the country can be worse than hell.

The only and best alternative left to José Mário Vaz to make Guiné-Bissau a little less than hell was to choose Umaro Sissoco, because he is a young dynamic man, neutral and he is not a corrupt politician. This serves fabulously his goal to fight against corruption and his popular program "Mon Na Lama"

Alpha Condé's bogus declaration that the reason he did not indicate a name was to reserve the right of the president of the Republic, José Mário Vaz to declared the selected name without sending the president a copy of the selected name, makes him a real Satirist.

SOLUTION?

The BEST solution to the CRISES, would have been UNCONDITIONAL REINTEGRATION OF THE 15 DEPUTIES BACK TO PAIGC. However, this will sure require letter of resignation from Domingos Simões Pereira as leader of PAIGC, because, the crises in PAIGC cannot be resolve if Domingos Simões Pereira continue as the leader of the party. The crises will definitely spill over after the next legislative election".

AND...
Thereafter, the country could move on to the next stage of restructuring of the constitution to avoid future crises.
